Description

A phonetic categorization task where participants learn to distinguish Hindi dental and retroflex consonant sounds. The task involves 540 trials across multiple training levels with increasing difficulty. Participants listen to Hindi speech sounds and categorize them, receiving feedback to improve their perception of this non-native phonetic contrast. The task assesses auditory perceptual learning and phonetic category formation.
