Description
A two-session picture-naming experiment using short videos of imaginary creatures, each with a distinctive emotion, colour, movement, and sound. Participants are first taught 10 'learned' creature names (e.g. 'bamelu', 'carrudo') and are then asked to name them aloud when they reappear, mixed pseudo-randomly with 20 unlearned items used to test the production of semantically related unknown characters. Two warm-up examples (chien, chat) precede the main blocks. A microphone records each verbal response for offline analysis. Session 1 runs in the lab on PsychoPy and shows only the creature video. Session 2 has the same trial structure but additionally shows a verbal description of each creature before its video; session 2 supports both lab (PsychoPy) and online (PsychoJS / Pavlovia) execution.

Task Outputs
Naming latency and lexical access for newly-learned vs. unlearned imaginary-creature names; spoken-response audio for offline acoustic and phonetic analysis.
is_learnedsession- Naming accuracy (offline scoring of audio recordings)
- Naming latency (speech onset relative to stimulus onset)
- Acoustic features of produced creature names
